The Ordal mountains, straddling the Baix Llobregat and Alt Penedès comarques, extend the limestone karst of Garraf inland.
Part of the Serralada Litoral major unit, dominated by calcàries (60 %). Its caves are spread across Baix Llobregat, Alt Penedès.
