Description

Morphology

It opens to the exterior through a large fracture 28 metres long and between 1 and 2 metres wide; in addition, there is a drop of 7 metres between the upper and lower lips. The fracture is divided into several sectors due to various collapses. At the point where the fracture is most penetrable, it takes the form of a shaft 8 metres deep that allows reaching -15 metres from the upper level. The fracture can be accessed from various points not connected to one another. The part farthest along the fracture is where the -17 metres depth is reached.

History

The first reference to this cavity is the one provided by Jordi Lloret and Jaume Ametller in the mid-70s, when they were members of GEFOMA at that time.
