Tiny 9-metre-deep pit in Begues.

Characteristics

Location

From the paved road of the Pla de Sots, a track heads towards the creu d'Ardenya, passing beside the doline where the avenc Gran de les Alzines is located. At this point on the track we find a tower of the power line; following the track we will soon find another tower of the line. From here we will continue under the cables in the direction of the creu d'Ardenya; halfway to the next tower we will find on the left an artificial stone wall, and directly in front of this wall is the cavity.

Description

Morphology

Wide cylindrical shaft of 4 metres; at the base, at one end and beneath a block, a step of elongated structure and 5 metres deep opens up.

History

First exploration carried out by the SEO of the CE Vallirana.
