Characteristics

Location

Located at the Pla de Basses Roges electrical plant, we will have to head towards the hut where the radio and TV repeaters are found; from here we will continue along the path in the direction of the Claperons quarry. First this path takes a turn to the right, and a few metres further on the turn is made to the left; at precisely this point we must leave the path on its right-hand side and go down in the direction of the nearby torrent. The cavity is found shortly before reaching the torrent; at present some cairns lead us to the cavity.

Description

Morphology

A 2 metre drop places us on a ramp that leads us to a new 2 metre drop, where a new ramp ends in a meander that places us at the head of a pit of about 9 metres; before reaching the base of this we find on the other side a sloping ledge. At the base we find on one side a blind pit, and on the other a pit of about 7 metres that place us in a joint that towards the east narrows until it becomes impassable, and towards the north we find a small chamber that ends with the ceiling in the form of a dome.

History

First exploration carried out by the Espeleo Grup Hospitalet around 1999.
