Description

Morphology

The entrance is 2.5 metres in diameter. After passing a vertical drop of 1 metre in depth, one enters a single chamber with a sloping floor.

Speleothems

In the lowest part of the chamber there is a relatively well-developed stalagmitic coating.

History

Known since time immemorial, Faura i Sans already mentions it in 1909.

The older people of Begues know it as Cova dels Sants, due to the fact that during the war of 1936 the images from the church were hidden there.
