A pit between the plans of Sot d'Ossos and d'Ardenya, in Vallirana, with an elongated entrance on an N-S joint.

Characteristics

Location

The easiest access is from the Avenc de les Alzines, following almost 300 metres in a NE direction. There is no path, only a clearly visible cairn at the entrance.

Description

Morphology

Elongated entrance on an N-S joint. On the SE side, an outcrop of “sparry calcite”. Two drops of 2 metres and a bit lead to the bottom, blocked by boulders.

History

Discovered and explored by members of ERE – AEC in the mid-1970s.
