Characteristics

Location

On the left bank of the torrent de l'Alba (Begues). It is reached via the track that runs from Begues in the direction of the Mas de les Fonts; once past the font d'Alba, the track climbs through a couple of bends up to the highest point, in the middle of a curve from which a path leads off and is followed for a few metres until a small trail is found on the right that leads directly to the avenc del Vermell; from there one must descend a little down the slope amid dense vegetation to find the mouth of the pit.
