Description
Morphology
Rock shelter of 5X3X2 metres. Inside there is an opening 1 metre above the floor, which leads into a small chamber with a low ceiling, where a narrow slot passage connects to a circular chamber of 3X2 metres.
Speleothems
The circular chamber of 3X2 metres is divided in two by a thick stalactitic crust.
History
We do not know who the first explorers were, although it seems they have long been known to the local people; they had also been mentioned, confused with les Esquerdes de les Rovires, due to their proximity. In fact, the first speleological data and surveys correspond to A. Asensio and P. Valdepeñas, who explored them in 1991.
