Location

It is located at the bottom of the Verdor. Following the bottom of the Verdor from the avenc dels Esquirols along the hydrographic right bank, we will find the cavity approximately 165 metres from that one and right next to the streambed, shortly before reaching the avenc de la Verdor.

Description

Morphology

An opening of about 2.50x1.60 metres gives access to a shaft about 2 metres deep. At the SE end a narrow shaft opens that descends a little more than 2 metres where the cavity ends at -4.50 metres.

History

The first exploration was carried out in 1960 by the GES of the Club Muntanyenc Barcelonès, who gave it a somewhat exaggerated depth of -7 metres.
