Caves and potholes in the Port, el geological unit

Els Ports, a large limestone massif at the meeting point of Catalonia, the Valencian Country and Aragon, holds a wild, still poorly explored karst.

Part of the Serralada Prelitoral major unit, dominated by calcàries (52 %). Its caves are spread across Baix Ebre, Terra Alta, Montsià.
