Description

Morphology

Ascending cave with a route of about 45 m. Once a short 6-metre climb is passed, one enters a gallery with the floor on a steep ascending slope among blocks, followed by a couple of steps that must be climbed to reach an upper gallery, also occupied by blocks and with some spaces beneath them. At the highest point, the elevation reaches + 18.56 relative to the entrance mouth.

Progression

Once a short 6-metre climb is passed, one enters a gallery with the floor on a steep ascending slope among blocks, followed by a couple of steps that must be climbed to reach an upper gallery.

History

Discovered and explored by members of the Espeleo Club Tortosa more or less around the mid-2000s. Its name is due to a very taut liana at the mouth. Initially it was rigged, but the direction of the Parc Natural had the installations removed to protect a colony of bats inside.
