Going along the paved track that climbs mont Caro, when the long straight ends and at the bend where the climb begins, a track branches off to the left which, in a S direction, we must follow as far as the corral de Colomet; a little further on a turn-off to the right must be taken that follows the course of the barranc de la Caramella, until reaching the Casa Carballo. From here the camí de la Caramella a Caro must be followed and, after leaving the turn-off that leads to Mola Castellona, continue a little more than 200 metres and about 4 metres to the right of the path is the entrance of the pit.
