Location

From Roquetes take the road to els Reguers and turn off towards the road that climbs to Caro. Shortly after, right at the Canal de Xerta – la Sénia, turn left and follow the track parallel to the canal until crossing the barranc de Covalta. A few metres further on a path branches off to the right that ends at the corral de Reina.

The pit is 230 m NE of the corral and at the edge of some olive groves.

Description

Morphology

Through a window-shaped entrance one enters a single shaft of just over 10 m of drop and of circular section of little width.

Progression

At the bottom, behind some blocks, where the remains of some dead animals are found, a short passage continues in a slight slope and after a few metres becomes impenetrable.

History

Cavity unpublished in the catalogues although it was already known. Visited by members of CE Dinàmics on 7 April 2022 who carry out the cataloguing work.
