History
Discovered and explored in 1965 by a team from the Agrupació Científico-Excursionista de Mataró, which gave it a length of 20 metres and a vertical drop of 8 metres, without giving a very precise location for it.
Members of SIRE – Tortosa visited it during their explorations in the area in 1978, updating the data of the previous explorers. At the entrance they painted Avenc dels Ninots.
