Description
Morphology
After a small pothole about 3 metres deep, a subvertical passage follows that connects with a 7.5 metre pit. Its base is a spacious, sloping chamber, subdivided by a 3 metre drop. Among the boulders of the final section, the deepest point is reached.
History
Discovered and explored in 1965 by a team from the Agrupació Científico-Excursionista de Mataró, which assigned it a depth of 35 metres, without giving a very precise location of its whereabouts.
It was not until 1978 that members of SIRE – Tortosa rediscovered it, producing a more accurate survey.
