Description
Morphology
An elongated entrance of 3 x 1.6 metres, covered by vegetation. A 4-metre pit has its base formed by an earth ledge where the pit appears to end. On one side, half covered by brush, there is a passage. Towards one side it is closed off by blocks within a few metres, and in the opposite direction, within a few metres, there is a drop of about 2 metres and the gallery makes a turn, opening out in the form of a funnel until it meets another gallery that crosses it. At this point there is a pit about 5 metres deep, at the bottom of which the maximum depth is reached.
Progression
You descend a 4-metre pit to an earth ledge. Through the passage half covered by brush you continue descending along an earth ramp to a small chamber, and continuing down along a stone ramp to a pit of about 6 metres. Beyond, the gallery makes a turn to another gallery that crosses it, where there is a pit about 5 metres deep, at the bottom of which the maximum depth is reached.
History
Discovered and explored by members of the ERE – CEC and of the Biblioteca Balaguer de Vilanova i la Geltrú, during the campaigns they carried out between the years 1972 and 1974.
