Description
Morphology
Narrow, elongated entrance. It is through the S end of the entrance that we can enter, but it presents a serious vertical narrowness not suitable for everyone. This entrance drop is about 4 metres and gains dimensions in the final part. At the base we find ourselves in the widest zone (about 80 cm) of a tectonic fracture. Towards the S it closes, while towards the N a cleared narrowness gives way to a small chamber of 2 x 2 metres that forms a dome. This dome is formed by the crossing of two fractures; the one that crosses the main one forms an impenetrable conduit towards the W.
Speleothems
The floor is rock with some pisoliths and remains of bones of some bird.
Hydrology
Through the upper part of the dome light from outside can be seen, but through very small holes. Through the impenetrable conduit formed towards the W air blows and in rainy periods water trickles.
Progression
Entrance cleared in January 2018. It is through the S end of the entrance that we can enter, but it presents a serious vertical narrowness not suitable for everyone. This entrance drop is about 4 metres and gains dimensions in the final part.
History
Discovered by members of the UEC – Tortosa on the day of Reis of 2018 (reixos in the Terres de l'Ebre and País Valencià). The following week (13-1-2018) and with the help of Luis Almela (ECC) they carry out the survey and clearing work, although they do not seem too promising.
Bio
Remains of bones of some bird.
