Location

Leaving Horta de Sant Joan, you need to find the track that leads to the recreational area of the mas de la Franqueta. On reaching the height of the Roques d'en Benet, you must turn left onto another track called de les Eres, which continues in a S direction along the entire western slope of these distinctive rocks. The cave entrance is located in line with the Cova d'en Benet and also at the base of the wall.

Description

Morphology

Consists of a single gallery 17 metres long with a height of about 2 metres at the start, which in the final section descends until it becomes impassable.

History

Although the cave must have been known forever and perhaps under another name, the only reference we have is the data given by the members of SIRE – UEC Sants who explored and surveyed it in April 1980.
