Description
Morphology
The mouth of the pit opens in a small funnel, beginning with an irregular shaft divided into two sections (P-13; P-8). From here, the pit widens considerably and descends 26 vertical metres with various ledges along its course. At the level of the head of this shaft, in the wall there is a window that gives access to a short gallery, slightly ascending and just over 12 metres long. Also at the level of the last ledge before reaching the base of the shaft, a clearly ascending passage originates that ends in two chimneys about 10 metres high. At one end of the base of the shaft (elevation -48) a narrow descending passage opens until it becomes impassable and reaches the point of maximum depth.
History
Cavity discovered by members of the Espeleo Club Tortosa in June 1994, at the same time that the avenc de la Crisi (MC-100) was discovered.
