Location

Access is from the TV-3421 road, turning off along the barranc de la Galera, following the camí de les Casetes Velles to the end of the track. From here we have two options: climb to the base of the upper cliff where the cave is, about 325 metres away, or turn off the track shortly before the end and continue to the Masos de Caguitos; from here we continue in a W direction for about 150 metres, where we will find the cave at the base of the cliff.

Although access is from Mas de Barberans and the ICGC map places it in the municipality of la Sénia, in reality the cavity is located in the municipality of Roquetes.

Description

Morphology

A wide entrance gives access to a gallery 10 metres long, with no further continuation.

History

A cavity of which there was no speleological record. On seeing that it appeared located on the ICGC map, members of the Grup espeleològic Dinàmic decided to go and look for it, but it turned out that it was not in the place where the map marked it; they had to search the surrounding area until they found it. In the end there was an error of 350 metres in distance and 50 metres in elevation relative to where it really is, which means that the cavity changes municipality and also comarca relative to where the ICGC map places it.
