History
After the first searches in the lower area of the barranc de Cova Pintada, begun in 1985 by members of the Espeleo Club Tortosa, prospecting continued through the higher area while seeking possible connections with CP.1.
The exploration of CP.8 was probably carried out towards the autumn of 1987.
