Caves and potholes in the Montsià, el - Godall geological unit
A limestone massif at the southern tip of Catalonia, above the Ebro delta, with a coastal karst open to the sea.
Part of the Serralada Prelitoral major unit, dominated by calcàries (99 %). Its caves are spread across Montsià.
Catalonia has 81 catalogued cavities in the Montsià, el - Godall geological unit, including 16 potholes and 65 caves. The longest is Cova del Tendo (202m) and the deepest is Avenc de l'Arion (58m).
