Location

In the Montsià. From the Punta de la Barqueta you must find the Faixes path, below the spectacular cliffs of the Faixes Tancades. You pass by the damaged font de Neus (on maps: Font de la Gota) and continue to the head of the ravine, and in the middle of the cliff, the perfect cave entrance is found.

Description

Morphology

A showy, rounded entrance that leads to a single passage that lowers in ceiling until it closes after a few metres. We do not have a survey, so we do not know the exact dimensions of the cavity.

Progression

You must scramble down the scree slope of the head of the ravine until reaching a ledge of little more than a metre and a half that allows you to reach the cave entrance.

History

Very well known by the regular hikers of these Montsià hills.
