Description

Morphology

It consists of a single slightly ascending gallery, about 20 metres long and of comfortable dimensions in the first stretch, decreasing in height in the final part where there are some small branches of short length.

Other details

At the entrance there is a series of blocks fallen from the overhang, which were partly used to make a small wall when the cave was used to keep animals.

History

Known since time immemorial. In 1977 Joaquim Romeu found some first flint remains and other materials. In October 1983 an archaeological excavation campaign was carried out.
