Description

Morphology

Small 8 m deep pit. Through a small opening made by digging out, one enters a small shaft of about 5 metres. At its base, through a narrow passage also dug out, one can descend a drop to reach the bottom of the pit.

Progression

Through a small opening made by digging out, one enters a small shaft of about 5 metres. At its base, through a narrow passage also dug out, one can descend a drop to reach the bottom of the pit.

History

Lluís Cruzate found the pit after digging out a small hole, naming it after his youngest son. David Tomàs, a climber from Ulldecona, was the first to descend the small shaft. Informed by the discoverer of the pit and accompanied by him, members of the Espeleo Club Tortosa visited it on 2 March 2014, digging out a lower narrow passage and reaching the bottom of the pit.
