Description

Morphology

Following the foot of the cliff, a series of small holes is encountered, of which a brief record was made of the three that reached five metres. In the so-called l'Aixopluc de l'Emboscat, the left wall is crushed, presenting the appearance of a breccia of angular fragments.

Other details

Evidently it only makes sense to record them for the joint fit they represent of the evolution of the ancient fracturing and karstification of the sector. The polish of the floor indicates that this small shelter was frequented. From this point there is an extraordinary view of the whole valley and, given the screen of vegetation that protects it, it seems an ideal lair in which to lie in ambush.

History

Located and documented by the team of the Espeleodijous during the approach to the neighbouring Espluga del Moro, on 6 April 2017.
