A 41-metre-long cave in la Granadella, with two entrances, 6.5 metres of vertical drop, known and used since ancient times.

Characteristics

Location

Leaving la Granadella on the C-233 road towards Bovera, after kilometre 18 we find on the right a track leading to the mas del Gori; follow this track for 350 metres. The upper entrance is on the right beside the path. To reach the lower entrance, continue along the track for about 60 metres, go down to the left and the entrance will come into view.

Description

Morphology

It has two entrances; the upper one is a ramp full of construction rubble, quite unstable. You must enter through the lower entrance, 11 metres wide and 2 metres high. A short gallery follows, maintaining a similar height and width, until reaching the foot of the ramp of the upper entrance; behind the scree cone it is still possible to continue for a few metres. It has a length of 41 metres and 6.5 metres of vertical drop.

History
