Location

Located in the residential development that occupies all of Cap de Salou, one must go to find the street situated furthest E. (carrer del Reguerot del Clavegar), which ends at the stony cove of the same name. On the S side the cavity is perfectly visible.

Description

Morphology

A short but wide gallery filled with sandy sediments with carbonaceous lenses. The thickness is somewhat more than a metre and occupies a broad semicircle.

History

Visited by the ERE – CEC on 9 January 2015, who surveyed it. We know of no earlier reference, nor whether anyone knows it by another name.

It seems that recently (summer 2014 ??) a group of scholars (archaeologists ??) has cleared the mouth of the cavity, which was half blocked, and they are systematically working the sediments.
