Characteristics

Location

Within the urbanisation that occupies the whole of Cap de Salou, you must go along carrer de la Punta del Cavall until you find carrer del Pas de la Mala Dona, which remains closed, and continue along some stairs that go down to the camí de Ronda. Follow it to the right (W) as far as the small bridge that crosses the Pas de Mala Dona.

Description

Morphology

A little pit 6 metres long, elongated, that connects with a conduit that leads back outside. This extends about ten metres, like a trench, until reaching the sea.

Hydrology

The swell penetrates the cave and in case of rough sea causes the blowhole effect. Very close by there are other small non-functional springs.

History

Well known to the local people: they say it is a good place for octopuses.
