Submarine cave about 50 metres long at L'Escala, with a wide entrance, a 5-metre shaft and a narrow gallery that returns to the sea through a restriction at -11 metres.

Location

The cave is on the coast of L'Escala, in the wall between illa Mateua and Cala Montgó, near punta del Romaní, and in diving toponymic terms it lies between la Depuradora and la Xinxa. Specifically, it is located just after passing the wall that is there when passing the tunnel of la depuradora. Just before the cavity we find the Túnel Submarí del Romaní, explored in 2007 by Josep Guarro. The wall turns to the right and the environment becomes very dark; we are right in the area of the Psicoblok, where in summer climbers set up a line to do balance moves. At the vertex of the parabola formed by the wall, the cave is found at a depth of about 6 metres.
