Location

Right at Punta del Romaní, near a house and beside the coastal path that runs along the cliff edge. It is protected by a wire mesh at the upper entrance.

Description

Morphology

The entrance, 5 metres long by 1.5 wide, leads to a 7-metre shaft. An inclined gallery follows which, at 12 metres depth, opens out through a lower entrance to the sea. On the exit towards the sea and flanking towards the S, at about 5 metres a gallery opens with an ascending step that allows penetrating about 5 metres.

History

Due to its location it has been known since ancient times. The only data known are the result of the visit carried out by members of the SIE – CEA in the summer of 2007.
