Location

To reach it we will set out from the masia de la Vinya Nova, on the boundary of the municipalities of Collbató and el Bruc. Next to the masia we will take a path in a NE direction towards the torrent del Pont; in about 400 m we will reach its streambed and follow the camí del Pont upstream along the torrent on its left hydrographic side for about 500 m until we reach the cave. The cavity is located a few metres above the path, on a small rocky outcrop and very well hidden by the vegetation, a few metres after a tiny cavity at the edge of the path.

Description

Morphology

Small ascending cave fitted out in different terraces with block walls. It has two entrances close together and separated by a large block.

Progression

The most used entrance has a step that requires a bit of climbing to access the cavity. Once on the lower terrace, the successive terraces and the final crawlway that quickly ends the cavity can be seen.

History

Probably known for a long time by hikers and those familiar with the mountain, but without any speleological reference until the visit of Montse Mañosa and Jordi Navarro, who on 18-9-2022 carried out the cataloguing work.
