Location

On the TP-2442 road from Sant Jaume dels Domenys to Pla de Manlleu, and above km 7.5, are the ruins of Les Ventoses.

The cave is located just 20m to the SE of the main construction, in a small rocky outcrop heavily concealed by the existing vegetation.

Description

Morphology

Small cave. Access to the cavity in its first metres is via an open-air corridor, then entering a low-ceiling chamber. In an E direction the cavity has a rising communication with the exterior blocked by blocks, and in a W direction the final low-ceiling chamber is reached through a small and narrow passage.

History

Known since long ago, in March 2017 Jordi Navarro and Montse Mañosa (Centre Excursionista Castellar) located it and carried out the documentation work to include it in the Catàleg Espeleològic de Catalunya (2023).
