Location

On the TP-2442 road from Sant Jaume dels Domenys to Pla de Manlleu, above kilometre 7.5, we find the ruins of the Cases Noves de les Ventoses. From the esplanade in front of the ruins and heading SW, a path sets off, initially well marked, which soon becomes less evident. We follow it for 560 metres, then leave it on the left-hand side and continue without a path towards the S, first along a ridge and then, after descending the slope for a drop of about 75 metres, we find the cave at the base of the cliff.

Description

Morphology

Small cavity with a low ceiling. The entrance gives access to a habitable chamber and, after a step, it rises slightly until it joins the ceiling and becomes impenetrable.

History

Cavity with no references, very probably known and used locally. Jordi Navarro and Montse Mañosa (Centre Excursionista Castellar) located it in July 2016 and carried out the documentation work for inclusion in the Catàleg Espeleològic de Catalunya (2023).
