Location

Driving along the TP-2442 road from Sant Jaume dels Domenys to Pla de Manlleu, above km 10.5, take the turnoff toward the La Moixeta and Les Pinedes Altes urbanizations; after 1 km you reach the riera de Marmellar, where there is the turnoff toward the La Moixeta urbanization via a bridge that crosses the riera.

The cavity is on the left hydrographic slope of the riera, 20 m above the riera bed and about 25 m downstream from the Moixeta bridge.

Description

Morphology

Small cavity with two entrances and a low ceiling. The passable entrance, of larger dimensions, gives access to a habitable chamber.

Progression

The penetrable continuity must be sought to the NE in a crawlway that progressively reduces its dimensions until it ends in some impenetrable conduits toward the interior and toward the main chamber.

History

Known since time immemorial.
