From in front of the house of la Barata the track that goes to Can Pèlags starts; shortly after descending to the riera de les Arenes, the path that goes towards Can Bofí starts on the left. A few metres from the turn-off (further on we would go to the avenc del Cavall de la Barata), on the right, we will find a heavily overgrown torrent. Once past the brambles we would reach the foot of a rocky outcrop. Above it and following the torrent upstream, on the right is the entrance of the pit.
