Cornudella de Montsant, a municipality in the Priorat, has 13 inventoried cavities: 4 pits and 9 caves. Together they total 424 m of passage and reach a maximum depth of 52 m. The lithologies present are limestone (7), sandstone (3), conglomerate (2) and dolomite (1).

The longest cavity is the Cova del Cingle del Bodro, with 92 m of passage on the left bank of the Siurana river, developed within a chaos of blocks. It is followed by the Avenc del Mas de la Barba and the Cova de Porta-lloret, both with 72 m. The Cova de Porta-lloret, on the left bank of the Siurana river, was discovered in 1934 and excavated until 1952.

The maximum depth corresponds to the Avenc del Mas de la Barba, with 52 m, a cavity formed by cliff collapse located 230 m SE of the mas de la Barba, in a large slab detached from the cliff of the barranc de la Gritella. Other notable cavities are the Avenc de la Falca, a narrow fissure 27 m deep discovered in March 1997 by the AAEET de Valls after a dig, and the Avenc del Pèl-roig, a small pit 17 m deep explored in 1996 by the AAEET de Valls.
