Characteristics

Location

Once in Santa Maria de Meià, we will continue with an off-road vehicle just after the weighbridge downhill, we will follow the track first crossing the barranc de Sant Pere and climb towards the coll de la Creueta where the castell d'Ariet can be seen. We will continue downhill where we will cross the barranc de les Artigues, climb a little and reach another small col, we will go back down from this col and at 150 metres we leave the main track turning right and uphill, we will follow this track in quite bad condition, we will cover 2.3 km until we find an entrance to a property where we will leave the car. The track continues uphill but now in a pitiful state.

We will pass along the edge of the property on our left until we reach the foot of the muntanya de Sant Mamet, we will climb up 415 metres in a South-West direction until we find the pit.

The cavity is next to a holm oak where we can rig the entrance shaft.
