The entrance is a large rock shelter with remains of a stone wall. Once past the vestibule, a 50-metre-long gallery begins that develops along an ancient subterranean thalweg. Its excavation was conditioned by the stratification plane that separates the upper part of conglomerates from the lower marly level. In the final stretch, the conduit rises slightly and the height of the ceiling gradually lowers until it remains filled by sediments.

Morphologically and genetically related to the Avenc del Daví (Andrés, 1970); although it should be noted that the altitude elevations given at that time for the entrances of both cavities are noticeably erroneous.
