Description

Morphology

A short, slightly descending gallery leads into an irregular small chamber of low height. It appears to be a cavity of clastic origin.

History

Possibly the first exploration was carried out by the SES – CE Puigmal in the mid-1950s. It is surprising that at this same time, members of the GES – CMB published an article in Speleon in which a series of cavities appear that should be very close by and that it has not been possible to locate, among which it is worth highlighting the Cova del Collet o de Can Roca, which apparently is collapsed.

Currently, the Cova Perduda is in a rather pitiful state, full of rubbish and with the appearance of being temporarily occupied by homeless.
