Small cave of archaeological interest in la Llacuna (Anoia), with two entrance mouths and a Bronze Age site.

Characteristics

Location

On the left slope of the riera de la Llacuna before passing through the hamlet of Rofes. About 250 metres before reaching the Font del Teix coming from Rofes and at the upper part of the crag. Access can be gained either via the riera or by descending the crag.

On the ICGC map the Font del Teix appears referenced twice in this sector, but it is not actually located at either of them. The exact location is: X: 380107; Y: 4593824

Description

Morphology

Small cave that has two entrance mouths. Both in the form of a very low laminator. The two passages converge a short distance from the entrance, giving rise to a room with a low ceiling and about 4 m in width where the cavity comes to an end.

Progression

The two accesses, in the form of a very low laminator, force crawling in the first metres.

History

Bronze Age site inventoried in the Map of Cultural Heritage of the Diputació de Barcelona. In poor state of conservation.
