Description

Morphology

The entrance, half covered by the foliage of a tree growing inside the cavity, gives access to the main gallery. This, after two consecutive crawls, takes a steep gradient until reaching the only downward step, which attains the maximum depth of the cave. Flanking the step, the gallery continues, always with a high ceiling, up to a first ascending ramp, at the foot of which the lower gallery opens, ending in a small room with a low ceiling. Following the upper gallery, two more ascending ramps are found; once the second is passed, the gallery splits and rejoins in the terminal room. Just past the second crawl at the entrance, one can continue to the left along another gallery that gives access to a side gallery.

Speleothems

The lithogenic process has been intense throughout the cavity, but at present it is active only in very localized spots at the end of the galleries.

Progression

The lower gallery connects at three points with the upper gallery. The side gallery connects with the main one through two windows.
