The entrance is about 1.80 m high by one metre wide and leads into a relatively straight phreatic gallery in which one must advance crouched. At 18 m it widens and becomes taller momentarily. Further on, an ascending gallery branches off to the left with some bends where the maximum height of the cavity is reached, +6 m. The last metres of the cave are somewhat crawling and we observe a clay sediment that ends up filling the natural continuation of the cavity. Total route, 44 m.

We find ourselves in a cavity of phreatic origin, with erosive forms on the bare rock. The floor is rather dusty and dry, except for the final stretch where there is a significant thickness of clay.

The itinerary was: palanca del Samsó, Vilar de Talaixà, escaler del Vilar, la Fontica, corral de les Grateres and escaler dels Soms. All in all this involves a height difference of 800 m over rough and steep terrain with poorly defined and easily lost paths. Quite difficult to reach without a track or in the company of people who know the terrain. Fortunately, Albert Sancho and Manel Cortizo knew it well, and even so doubts arose in some places.
