Cova del Carme

We will leave from the Castell de Penyafort located to the SW of Santa Margarida i els Monjos along the paved track that surrounds it and heads toward the SW; we will travel about 500m until reaching a group of houses (Cal Noi de Bellestar) and we will leave the main track to take a new track on the left in a SE direction for a distance of about 900m, where the track is closed by a chain. Here we will leave the car and continue on foot up the track that progresses along the bottom of the ravine for approximately 450m; on the left hydrographic slope and visible from the track is the font de Sant Llorenç, about 10m higher than the spring, and a few meters downstream on the same hydrographic slope is the rock shelter.
