Description

Morphology

It is a gallery that begins at the foot of the cliff wall at a depth of -18 m, and after about 60 m reaches the base of an ascending shaft where one can ascend to the 0 m level, where it can be seen that the shaft continues upward out of the water. In this shaft, at the -4 m level, there is a short hanging gallery that leads to another ascending shaft with characteristics similar to the first, and where the shaft also continues upward out of the water.

History

The first record we have of an exploration is the one carried out by Xavi Garza, on 28 February 1997, when during a reconnaissance of the area accompanied by Toni Comella and Carles Galan, they explored it and made a small sketch, in which the second shaft parallel to the first does not appear.

For years it was visited by different divers upon finding themselves next to the well-known la Cova de les Vetes, but it is not until August 2025 that Josep Guarro, Hilari Moreno Jr and Eduard Rovira make the survey and also explore the second parallel shaft, with the logistical support of the boat of the Parc Natural.
