Small cave in red sandstone at l'Argentera, known since time immemorial, with two entrances and maximum dimensions of 11 metres wide by 4.5 deep and 3 metres high.

Location

From Vilanova d'Escornalbou you must reach the coll de la Desenrocada, continue along the main track heading to coll Rodó, about 50 metres before arriving, you will find on the right a small red cliff with the cova de Dos Ulls clearly visible.

Description

Morphology

The cova de (or dels) Dos Ulls has maximum dimensions of 11 metres wide by 4.5 deep and a height of 3 metres. It has two entrances, one of 5 by 2 metres and the other of 3.8 by 1.9 metres high.

Small cave in red sandstone (l'Argentera).

History

Known since time immemorial.
