Description
Morphology
With a positive rise of 3.5 metres at its entrance, the balma de la Desenrocada has maximum measurements of 9 metres deep by 9.5 metres wide and a height of 5 metres.
History
Known since time immemorial. It is thought that Antoni Gaudí, born in Reus and who spent part of his childhood at a farmhouse in Riudoms, was inspired by the alveolar forms that occupy a good part of the relief of the Desenrocada to design the peculiar shapes of the windows and doors of his architectural work.
