Minor rock shelter in Juncosa, in the Garrigues, 24 m wide by 4 deep, with two windbreaks.

Characteristics

Location

Following the road from Juncosa to els Torms, at km 20.25, take a track that branches off to the left; after passing a fork to the right and another to the left, we reach a point where a chain blocks our way. We continue on foot along the track, which follows the bottom of the valley, and soon we see a building, behind which the rock shelter is located.

Description

Morphology

Rock shelter 24 m wide by only 4 deep. There are two windbreaks: one on the right, straight, and one in the centre, L-shaped.

History

Known since ancient times.
