Location

From Mont-ral we will follow the camí de la Foradada that passes through the Serrat de l'Avenc. Once past the avenc de l'Os and the avenc del Teix, we will find a path on the right (ED50 X:339783; Y:4572642). We will follow this path for 250 metres, where on the left of the path we will find a depression in the terrain; inside and close to the foot of the cliff is the cavity.

Description

Morphology

Within a depression of about 10 metres in diameter, the mouth of the entrance pit opens, which presents a vertical drop of -8 metres, cutting into the central part of a narrow joint and occupied in its entirety by accumulations of clastic products, forming a slope towards both ends.

History

The first exploration was carried out in 1965 by R. Juanpere, R. Vallina, A. Tolrà, and J. de San Martin, of the SIEP del CE Poblet.
