The cavity was certainly known since ancient times by the woodcutters of the area, since at the same opening there is a stump of a trunk sawn for firewood. But as far as we know, its location had not become known in the speleological world. It is not until October 2019 that Josep Guarro, while looking at orthophotos and Lidar relief maps of the massif, discovers what appears to be the opening of a shaft in a place where there is no record of any known cavity. Finally on 3 November 2019, Joan Carles Juderias, Hilari Moreno Jr. and Josep Guarro make the first known exploration and survey the cavity, which unfortunately does not go beyond -12 m depth.
